I'm Tendai Jordan, the Boomin’ Boomer. What a state of mind to be in. Something happens to you once you reach ”the age of maturity.” Meaning, you are beginning to know who you are as a spiritual being having an earthly incarnation. The things that meant so much when you were “younger” seem to be unimportant and just living a life of purpose and passion is where you desire to put your energies, time and money and whatever anyone else thinks about it does not matter. The baby boomer generation has a strong hold on this state of mind. The nest is empty, the jobs are not fulfilling, retirement has become a consideration, the feeling of “there is more to life” is rising to the surface, starting that business that you have been thinking about for years is now very possible, the fear of turning that hobby into a business is diminishing. You begin to make some real changes in this second phase of life. I have experienced all of these feelings and circumstances. I decided to bring all of my education, experiences and skills together to form Master Mind Groups. I have been a facilitator, educator, community organizer, coordinator for many years. I provided training for lay people and professionals around health issues. I conducted meetings with diverse participants with liked minded concerns. I created a business named take One Night Off A Week that provided a safe, educational and fun environment for the participants to share and grow. Putting together like minded people to share, grow and take decisive action is a win-win situation and I love it.
